Members and collaborators

The model of the NGP involves a partnership between The Neuro and a number of key stakeholders.

Each NGP Member shall contribute to funding the Scientific Program in the manner specified in their NGP Membership Agreement.

An organization that may be interested in collaborating with the NGP but is unable to meet the requirements to become an NGP Member may be involved in some aspects of the Scientific Program. in an ad-hoc capacity without being a formal Member of the NGP.

 

Our Partners

Open science and intellectual property

The Scientific Program will be performed in respect of The Neuro Open Science Principles and as such all results generated under the Scientific Program will be deposited into the C-BIG Repository and will be made available and shared openly. The parties shall not seek to obtain patents or other intellectual property protection claiming any of the results generated by McGill under the Scientific Program.

Notwithstanding the foregoing each party shall be free to patent or otherwise protect any invention or downstream result generated through the use of the results to the extent that such patent or other intellectual property protection does not restrict access to or use of the results by third parties.
